The most recent version of iOS, iOS 17, has recently introduced its third beta version, bringing several exciting enhancements to popular Apple apps.
Unlike previous years, this beta version is now accessible to all registered Apple Developers without any fees. However, it is advisable for regular users to avoid installing this software on their primary iPhones. It is best to wait for the stable release scheduled for this fall or, at the very least, wait for the more stable public beta, which is expected to be available in a week or two.

So, what can you expect from beta 3? Thanks to MacRumors' investigation, we can provide you with an overview of the latest modifications in iOS 17.
» Music
iOS 17 introduces a new feature that allows users to view the credits for songs on Apple Music. By selecting "View Credits" from the three-dot menu at the top of the Now Playing screen, you can now access information about the performers and crew involved in creating the song. Additionally, the expanded menu provides the ability to read the full lyrics of a track and view its audio quality rating.
» Health
The changes in the Health app primarily focus on the new Mental Wellbeing tracking system. The app now features aesthetic adjustments that differentiate selected moods with various colors. Furthermore, buttons, sliders, and other elements dynamically change their hues to match the selected mood. Additionally, a new reminders function has been added, allowing users to set prompts for checking in during specific times of the day.
» Photos
In the Photos app, a minor change has been made to the menu in the Recently Deleted section. The recover and delete options, which were previously separate buttons, are now combined into a single menu button. If no images are selected, the options transform into "Delete All" and "Recover All," simplifying the restoration of accidentally deleted bundles of images. Furthermore, users now have the ability to create a video from multiple selected photos or exclude specific individuals from appearing frequently in the "For You" menu memories.
» Home
For users with multi-colored bulbs and the Home app, iOS 17 introduces preset color options within the app and via the Control Center. This allows for easier selection of colors for smart bulbs. Moreover, the Home app now includes an Activity History feature that enables users to monitor the activities of their connected security devices. Customization options are available to determine the duration for which the history is saved.
These are just a few of the initial changes found in the beta version. More exciting features are expected to be discovered as beta testers continue to explore the software.
It is important to note that these changes are currently exclusive to the developer beta. However, they are expected to become available in the public beta soon, followed by the final release in September, coinciding with the anticipated launch of the iPhone 15 series.
